31% of the of Britain's adult population will go into debt paying for Christmas this year, according to a new YouGov survey.
58% of these will rely heavily on credit cards to pay for Christmas, and most of the remaining 42% will cover costs by using overdraft facilities.
The survey found that Brits aged between 25 and 34 struggle the most with money, with 64% facing debts or arrears of some kind.
