The National Debtline is an independent telephone service for people struggling with debt, they are part of the Money Advice Trust group. The National Debtline produce a booklet entitled 'Dealing With Your Debts' (available here). Debt Free Me advise everyone to read this booklet before agreeing to any kind of debt management plan.
The 'Dealing With Your Debts' pack covers how to deal with your creditors through sections titled 'How To Work Out Your Own Personal Budget', which will allow you to explain your money issues or problems easily, 'How To Prioritise Your Debts' outlines what actions creditors can take and how to cope with court procedures.
