Certificate in Debt Resolution - CertDR

CertDR

As members of the Debt Resolution Forum we train all client-facing staff to the standards contained within the Certificate in Debt Resolution (CertDR) – to either the Award or Certificate standard as the member deems appropriate, or to a standard that can be demonstrated is similar to these qualifications. this is the first recognised qualification in the debt management industry and is examined at a level equivalent to A-Levels.

The BTEC Advanced Certificate in Debt Resolution (CertDR) is fully accredited by Edexcel on their customised framework at Level 3.

The qualification has been designed in conjunction with leading financial services consultants – Doran Scott Williams (DSW). It complements the standards required by Mortgage Advisers, Insolvency Practitioners, Debt Management Advisers, Debt Counsellors, Money Advisers and Credit Managers.

Background

The Certificate in Debt Resolution was a major project undertaken by the Debt Resolution Forum (DRF) in support of the raising of standards in the non-statutory debt solution market place.

The DRF has a clearly defined aim of ensuring that those studying for the Certificate in Debt Resolution are not only recognised within the debt resolution industry but also have a qualification which meets educational standards allowing them to progress their studies and career, should they desire to do so.

As a founder member of the Debt Resolution Forum, Debt Free Me aim to eventually put all of our staff forward to study for the qualification in order to offer our clients the best possible service.
